Pioneer Days

So this weekend was another good, nearly free, event too! We went to a nearby county park for Pioneer Days... it's a village that "comes to life" once a year with all authentic log cabins brought from all over the state. It was only $2 to park the car, and the rest was open to our roaming. We got a few free food samples, and saw lots of neat "pioneering." We went with friends and the only bad part was that it was 90 degrees!! Ridiculous weather for October!

We had yummy persimmon jam and bread here.

This log cabin was quite spacious with a full upstairs.
