Getting in touch with nature

I feel that Lafayette is my home, but alas, I am no longer there. So we have been trying to discover our new surroundings and we have had some pleasant surprises (Terre Haute is one of those places you have to look around a bit to see some of its beauty). We have found some great county parks that are FREE and are a great way to connect with nature and enjoy the nice weather, etc. I am thrilled to have found these two parks, and there is another one we have yet to visit. That one makes maple syrup in February (yum). Here are some of our pics from the last couple weekends.
