The Fourth we spent in Indy with good friends who hosted a holiday party. Of course there was good food, fun conversation and a couple fun activities for the kids... tye-dyeing which I haven't done for years, but definitely brought back the Girl Scout memories. There was also a pinata filled with candy!
Sadly, it was a very rainy and of all things - COLD - Fourth of July. We had hoped the fireworks were still going to happen, but despite waiting in the rain, the kids were sorely disappointed. But, most communities were able to do the planned firework show the following night, so we saw that from our apartment back at home.
