So September has arrived, and though it's nice to have more of a routine again, it's a VERY busy one for us. It seems that as soon as I arrive, Fares has to go and vice-versa. At least during the week. We do have our weekends "free" (though there is plenty of studying for him). Last week Gabriela started school again, which I know she will really enjoy. She is going four days a week this year with a curriculum to prepare her well for kindergarten. My new job is going well, and is allowing me the flexibility to be home most afternoons so I can be with Gabriela rather than having to put her in daycare in the afternoon. Fares is taking three classes and teaching two... and studying for the comprehensive exam and trying to figure out what we're doing after this semester. Probably in the same place, but some things are still up in the air, so we're also starting to look for "after school" options too. For now we are taking things one day at a time. We did visit Bloomington the other week (we've always been curious about it there. it's really nice). Here are some pics for your enjoyment!
I felt like we were in Venice or somewhere exotic with these gorgeous flowers on this wall. They had an indoor mall downtown that was really neat. Gabriela is getting pretty big, which she tells us (and herself) nearly everyday.
