Friday last was the Latin Fashion Show I modeled in... and it was fun! I was a bit worried about how it would go, particuarly for our group having minimal time to change into our second/third dresses. But it all went well and was fun, though it was hours and months of preparation for such a short time in the lime light. Our dresses were neat, our models prettier (according to those present) than the others, and our hair and make-up was WOW! (LOTS and LOTS of glitter). Thanks to my friends that were there to support me: Fares (of course), Claudia, Mom, Mike and Barbie, not to mention Ruth and company (who were also there to see Stephanie :)
The top picture is my second dress, which I loved! We do not presently have a pic of the first outfit (mom took a video, and our camera card was full at the moment Fares went to take the first pic... :(This is at the end of the show; all the models wore black dresses and got a baggy of goodies. Thanks to Rita for loaning me the outfit! I was not told until less than a week before the show we needed a black dress... and had no time to go find an appropriate one.

This is Gaby, the designer and friend for the Lafayette girls. She made over 20 dresses for this show since March. All were beautiful!

You look great!! Woo! Looks like fun ! You need to check the pictures on the family website (and post your blog URL there).
So you're a model now. Was this a fundraiser for something?
It was done by a hispanic magazine from Indianapolis and the designer is a friend of ours that invited me to be one of her models. It was a one time thing
