Yawns
I have a pondering question... does anyone else ever yawn while they read out loud?? I always have, and my mother does to. Any ideas as to why? I don't yawn if I am talking to someone. I think I have a theory -- as mothers, we tend to read to our children at bedtime, so our yawning from reading out loud is contagious to our children, and they begin to yawn and relax and are more ready to go to sleep. Any other thoughts??

I'm not sure I do, I'll have to watch myself tonight.
I totally do- but it's not just kid's books- it's all books. Any length of reading aloud makes me yawn.
Yawning is supposed to be caused by our body needing more oxygen right? So maybe we're not breathing enough when we read?
