Gabriela spent the entire day in her costume. To pre-school, then to daycare, then out trick-or-treating. We went to the public library for a new book (very cool), then on to the mall for treats from the merchants there.
We went with our neighbors. I've never gone to a place like that for Halloween. It was not quite what I had hoped. There is definitely something to walking from house to house, etc. that was missing. We also got a lot less candy and variety than I would normally have expected, but that is not all bad in that it did limit our amount of suckers and tootsie rolls, and I do not have to be as tempted with lots of chocolate around ;)
